Please support my fundraising efforts for the Melanoma Research Foundation!
Help me to help further melanoma research... until *everyone* survives it.
If you know me, you probably know my story: Diagnosed with malignant melanoma in April 2013, and then metastases to my lungs in September 2014, and my brain in April 2015. I have been beyond fortunate, able to access cutting-edge care and compassionate caregivers, and to respond to treatment to such an extent that I continue to have no evidence of active disease in 2022.
How I wish my story were the story of everyone diagnosed with melanoma. We simply aren't there yet. Significant progress has been made in recent years with improved detection, new drug treatments and better survival rates. This progress has been built on the breakthroughs made fighting other types of cancers, as well as the existing foundation of melanoma research.
But too many people still die of melanoma. There is so much research still to be done.
Miles for Melanoma helps people come together to help support the mission of the Melanoma Research Foundation. Your support will have a positive impact on those currently in treatment, and those yet to be diagnosed.
Please consider supporting me for Miles for Melanoma today! Thank you so much.
