2019 Miles for Melanoma San Francisco 5k Run/Walk

Cathy's Angels

When our beloved Cathy was diagnosed with melanoma in 2014, she refused to accept her diagnosis as a death sentence.  Instead, she met her disease head-on, and for three years she waged a bold and inspirational battle against this terrible disease.  She participated in numerous clinical trials and experimental treatments, not only in hopes of beating her own cancer, but also in the hope that through her experience, doctors and scientists could find a cure for this disease. It was always her desire that her efforts, even if they could not save her, would one day help save others.

Therefore we, her army of 'angels', have vowed to continue Cathy's quest to find a cure and to help end this disease.  This year will mark our third annual Miles for Melanoma Walk to raise critical funds for the Melanoma Research Foundation.  With every step we take and every dollar we raise, we continue to fight Cathy's brave battle.

Thank you for your support of our fundraiser, the MRF and most importantly, Cathy.
