Your team can help to make a positive, life-changing impact in the melanoma community by contributing to the MRF’s research, education and advocacy efforts. Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer-it is not just a simple mole to be removed as is the common misconception in society. In fact, it can develop anywhere on the body. The American Cancer Society’s 2020 Surveillance Research shows that more than 100,000 cases of melanoma will be diagnosed nationwide this year. While breakthroughs continue to occur each year, the need for continued research to find a cure is as prevalent as ever.
How can you help?
There are multiple opportunities for your team to become involved with the MRF and make a difference to those in the melanoma community by becoming a corporate partner at a local Miles for Melanoma event. Corporate Partners are invited to form teams and become involved in the 5K, volunteer at registration or interact with participants at your corporation’s branded tent. There are multiple opportunities for exposure to the community and creating positive brand awareness.

Miles for Melanoma is a 5k Run/Walk fundraising event founded over ten years ago to support the MRF’s vision to create better outcomes for patients. To date, Miles for Melanoma events have brought together thousands of participants, including melanoma patients, survivors, doctors and caregivers, to raise over $7,000,000.
