Join us for the Chicago Miles for Melanoma 5K!
REGISTRATION:
Please note our new fee structure. Registration rates will increase according to the dates listed below. Register early to save!
Regular rate registration will close Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 11:59 PM CT. The MRF team will offer on-site registration on event day but highly encourage you and your team to sign up early!
EVENT DAY SCHEDULE:
On Sunday, July 21, 2024, the Miles for Melanoma Chicago event will take place at Montrose Beach with the site opening at 7:30 AM CT for check-in. Opening Ceremonies will begin at 8:30 AM CT. The 5K will begin at 9:00 AM CT with our Closing Ceremonies to follow after all runners have returned starting at 10:00 AM CT.
EVENT ACTIVITIES:
Join us early and take advantage of all our fun event day activities, which include:
- Miles for Melanoma Photobooth
- Stop by to meet all our sponsors and receive free giveaway items such as tote bags, sunscreen, pens and much more!
- Play cornhole or other on-site outdoor games
- Free face painting and balloon making
5K COURSE DETAILS:
Access to the Chicago 5K route map is COMING SOON.
Please note this 5K course is not a certified 5K course but the MRF team will have an on-site timer to provide race results to all registered runners. The MRF team is not responsible for lost runners on the 5K course, and it is the responsibility of the runner to review the 5K course leading up to the event.
WEATHER:
Miles for Melanoma is a rain or shine 5K event.
The safety of our participants and attendees are our top priority and on-site MRF staff will make the call to delay an event start time or cancel an event-on-event day. This information will be communicated to all registered participants on event day via email.
PARKING:
Limited free parking available and paid lots surrounding the Montrose Beach area. Click here for directions. Click here for more information on parking from the Chicago Park Distric.
All in-person attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the 5K event. The MRF team will provide information to the public regarding the venue’s recommended parking locations, if applicable.
